Mitch Alboms newest venture came to my doorstep yesterday and it will be late this weekend before I dive into its life changing words.
I've enjoyed his previous works and always found a smile and a occassionally a tear. I imagine that this will bring about the same kind of heart-wrenching theme that will make me question my current mindset.
Which makes me wonder--what is my current mindset? Where am I now in my thoughts? My actions? What am I thinking before I go in to this novel? And how can my point of view change so often if I'm reading several different things at once?
For example, the Scarlet Letter--will be so different in theme and idea than the Albom novel. I will respond after I finish this weekend. Maybe--just maybe--I will have a different attitude. Or maybe I will find out that I'm not so far-off than I think.
