Black rhinos

I found out tonight that black rhinos are solitary creatures. White rhinos will pair up with another rhino to "keep each other company". I wonder how many other creatures in our world mimic both of these magnificent creatures. Now, before you begin to think that I am some sort of animal observer, I'm not. I enjoy animals, but I've found that I like the aggressive animals better than the passive, look at me animals.
For examples, who knew that blue jays would drive off every other bird in your yard? I didn't, but I do now and I'm proud to say that I enjoy blue jays dominating behaivor. However, I always see two blue jays, not just one. Bunnies? enough said? Mice? Rats? Spiders are always alone, but if you notice they are always pregnant. So they as well are communal, we just don't see it.
Why do I question? We mimic the animal kingdom. We are too similar for it to be a coincidence. Are we suppose to be solitary or are we suppose to be social? One only needs to watch any episode of any Housewives of New Jersey, Orange County, New York, Atlanta to discover that social is not all it's cracked up to be. However, can we survive without the social? Can we be solitary?
